We endeavour to provide respectful, nurturing care to every child who walks through our doors. We welcome families from a wide variety of backgrounds and tailor our care to the children we have in front of us today. Children are born competent, capable learners, so we enable children to fill their potential and become ready for the future by creating meaningful experiences, promoting emotional security, and by being responsive carers.

Georgie Buck
Centre Director
Georgie is our centre director and takes care of our staff, the parents and your little ones! She has over ten years experience in childcare and is Diploma qualified. Georgie is a real rocket and keeps our ship sailing, she can help you with all your customer service needs.
Laura Spokes
Educational Leader
Laura has worked as a childcare educator in Mortlake for over 16 years and is responsible for our curriculum design. She brings enormous knowledge and passion to our team and makes sure all our educators follow our educational program.
Fay Pearson
Educator
Fay is passionate and a fantastic team player. Hailing from Terang she has worked in education and brings a wealth of experience from special education. Fay will nurture your children with experience and care.
Ada O'Brien
Educator
Ada is a young member of our team who brings a smile to all the children's faces. She cares for every child with youthful energy and makes sure all our children's needs are met.
Kylie Sheaves
Educator
Kylie is a Mortlake mum who brings enormous personal experience to our team. She is also furthering her studies in her diploma of Early childhood and brings back the latest in educational ideas to our team.
Holly Hetherington
Educator
Holly is completing her school based training with us and is a valued team member. She is meticulous in everything she does and brings an eye for detail to our team.

About Us
Communication
The most important communication tool is the OWNA app and we use this as a one stop shop for most aspects of communication with families. You can see your child's stats, daily log & history to make sure they are being cared for. You will receive messages about your child’s activities and see the fun they’re having on a daily basis.We find the platform very effective for interaction between educators and parents through comments, posts and messages. It is a requirement of the centre to sign up to OWNA as we will log important information on payments, medical and learning on the OWNA app.
In an emergency situation, we may contact you through a mobile number so it is very important that we have your most up to date telephone numbers and email address in our system.
Enrolling Your Child
Please remember that our educators have families to go home to and their own children to collect by a designated time. If you are late to collect your child two educators have to stay behind and therefore both have to be paid overtime. To cover this, a late fee of $15 per 15 minutes or part thereof will be charged (e.g. if you are 5 minutes late you will be charged for a 15-minute block. If you are 20 minutes late you will be charged for two 15-minute blocks etc.).
There are several important documents you will need these may include:
● vaccinations
● enrolment forms
● CRN numbers of children and parents
● any court orders in place
● any medical plans issued by your doctor
The next step will be to approve Ready, Set, Go as your childcare provider in the Centrelink app to
receive your child care subsidy.

FEES AND PAYMENTS
We aim to keep our rates competitive and reasonable. Our rates are as follows:
RSG Timboon
Effective 30 June 2025, the daily fee will increase to $136.
RSG Mortlake
Effective 8 August 2025, fees will change as follows:
✅ Full Day: from $118.50 to $123.70
✅ Half Day: from $77.00 to $80.35
Kinder
Effective 30 June 2025, the daily fee will increase to $136.
We strongly urge parents to set up a direct debit on the OWNA app. This minimises the amount of paperwork our educational leaders need to spend out of the classroom and maximise our resources in expert care.
